ABOUT US
Mental health information you can actually trust
Anonymous Psychologist exists because too much mental health content online is written to sell something — a supplement, a subscription, a sense of alarm that keeps you scrolling. We’re trying something more boring and more useful: clear, accurate, honestly-sourced information, with nothing to sell you except the idea that understanding your mind is worth doing carefully.
What we do
We publish plain-language explainers on anxiety, depression, stress, relationships, and specific mental health conditions, along with practical guidance on finding and getting the most out of therapy. Every article is grounded in DSM-5-TR criteria, major clinical practice guidelines, and established treatment research — not trending anecdotes or forum threads.
How we’re different
We label what hasn’t been reviewed yet
A lot of sites quietly attach a clinician’s name to content that person never actually read. We don’t. Our byline tells you plainly whether an article has been clinically reviewed or is still pending — see our Clinical Reviewers page.
We don’t sell anything
No affiliate links, no sponsored “reviews,” no supplement ads dressed up as articles. Right now, our only goal is to be a source of information worth returning to.
We correct our mistakes publicly
Health information changes and errors happen. Our Editorial Policy explains exactly how we handle corrections and updates — nothing gets quietly edited without a record.

Health Content Writers
Our content is produced by the Anonymous Psychologist Editorial Team, working from clinical literature and established practice guidelines, and is intended for clinical review by licensed mental health professionals before or shortly after publication — we’re transparent about the review status of every individual article rather than implying blanket clinical authorship. We’re actively recruiting licensed psychologists, LCSWs, LMFTs, LPCs, and psychiatrists to join as reviewers; see our Contact page if that’s you.
Anonymous Psychologist is a content publisher, not a healthcare provider. We don’t offer therapy, diagnosis, or crisis support. Read our full Medical Disclaimer.
